They even have an indoor pool that occasionally they turn into an obstacle complete with inflatables on the water. Who knew that Fort Knox had a really cool (small) water park? Located on the Army base this Aquatic center has slides and obstacle courses (like the kind you’ve seen at Great Wolf Lodge) The price of admission to Beach Bend Park includes admission to the splash lagoon and is $44.99 for adults and $34.99 for children. There is tons of water fun to be had, from the lazy river to the wave pool and everything in between it will keep your family occupied for hours! So, when you tire of riding rides, you are sure to find an attraction that everyone will love. Beach Bend Splash Lagoon – Bowling Green, Kentuckyīeach Bend Splash Lagoon isn’t just a water park, it is an amusement park as well with history dating back to 1898. For the shorter guests admission is $15.95 and adult supervision only with no pool entry is $4. There are wide variety of prices ranging from those who want to do all of the attractions, for $17.95. When you visit you can expect body slides, tube slides, a speed slide, a wave pool and a robust play area for the little ones. Located in Somerset, Kentucky this water park is a hit with kids and adults alike. SomerSplash Water Park – Somerset, Kentucky Kentucky Splash Waterpark has a wave pool, a lazy river, a kiddy activity pool, a triple slide complex, a double slide tower, a championship miniature golf course, an arcade, a driving range. So if camping if your thing, come to swim, stay for the camping! Not only is this a waterpark, but also a camp ground. Kentucky Splash Waterpark – Williamsburg, Kentucky Here is the thing, in my very humble opinion, having a spot that you have to call home base for the day and not having to fight for a chair, makes a cabana very worth it. Additionally, you can reserve a cabana for the day ranging from $45 to $125 per day depending on the cabana and it’s location. General Admission prices for adults run $29 and $24 for kids. Tucked away in Eddyvillle Kentucky, the Venture River Water Park is a water park packed with water slides galore, a huge wave pool, a lazy river and of course an area for little ones. Many of these open Memorial Day and close in early September. To be completely transparent, I really was surprised by the amount of water parks in Kentucky. We’ve done a bit of research, starting with our home state of Kentucky. When the heat sizzles and fanning yourself repeatedly just isn’t cutting it anymore, the natural thing to do is to seek the solace of the cool water. Summertime is a fantastic time to get out and explore.
